Read the following terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation, they contain important information about your rights and obligations.
This website is owned by Central Taxi Telecom S.L. (from now on CTT), general email firstname.lastname@example.org, registered in the commercial register of Barcelona, volume 43616, Folio 113, Page 433691, NIF B65978173.
CTT carries out its activity under the Taximés trademark and acts as an agent by providing transportation reservation services through its web pages.
For your convenience we have a version translated into different languages, but this version (in Spanish language) is the only legally binding one.
CTT is a value-added intermediation service complementary to the official taxi service. As an added value it provides the management of reservations 365/24 (with modification, cancellation, adaptation of the service) with 24h assistance and online prepayment. The payment of the services includes the payment of the taxi service.
These conditions of service (general conditions) regulate the access and use of the services of this website. The access and use of these services is conditioned to the acceptance and fulfillment of these conditions.
By formalizing your reservation, you confirm that you have read, understand and accept these conditions, you also confirm that you have the necessary legal capacity and authority to accept these general conditions on your own behalf and / or on behalf of your companions. Therefore, you will be responsible for making the appropriate payments, you must notify us of any modification or cancellation, and you must, upon receiving the reservation confirmation, inform the other travelers.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The trademarks, commercial name and other intellectual property rights that appear on our site, belong to CTT and are protected by national and international standards of industrial and intellectual property.
All contents (such as, among others, texts, montages, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio files and software) used on the websites www.taxibarcelona.taxi (and other domains that point to the same page web) are the property of CTT and are protected by national and international standards of industrial and intellectual property. Its use is therefore prohibited, including the modification, reproduction or total or partial representation without our express and written consent.
It therefore undertakes not to use our website for illegal purposes.
Our website www.taxibarcelona.taxi is available in several languages. Our customer service is available to assist you in Spanish and English.
We control the good quality of the translation of our web pages, as well as the general terms and conditions set forth herein. In case of discrepancy and for legal purposes, the Spanish version will prevail.
CTT acts as the sales agent for the local Transfer Operator (hereafter referred to as “the Supplier”). To request a Service, you must follow the application procedure established on our website. All requests must be made at least 2 hours before the requested pick-up time.
a) The services shown on our website do not constitute an offer for sale by us, but an invitation for you to make an offer to the Supplier of said services. We may accept or decline your offer on behalf of the Supplier. All accepted requests are formalized by sending a reservation voucher to the email address you provided. If your request is rejected, the full amount (in Euros) of your pre-reservation will be refunded or an alternative Provider that could have different conditions and / or additional charges will be proposed.
b) Your service contract is directly with the Supplier. The particular conditions of the same will appear on your reservation voucher. Our function facilitates the conclusion of the contract between you and the Supplier. As an agent, we will not accept any responsibility for the services provided by the Supplier.
c) The contracting through our website of different transport services does not constitute a “combined trip” in the sense set out in the 1990 European Directive on combined trips, combined vacations and combined circuits. Each reservation constitutes an independent service contract between you and the Supplier.
3-Web booking procedure
a) All public transport services that CTT offers on its website have been authorized by local Suppliers.
b) By filling out the reservation form, you will be making a purchase offer via the web. All information provided therein will be provided to the Supplier for validation and confirmation of the service. It is extremely important that you verify that the names, addresses, telephone numbers, dates and times are correct. Otherwise, you should contact us immediately for rectification.
c) No service request will be met that is not accompanied by the corresponding payment. Immediately after the successful payment, we will send you a receipt thereof by email on behalf of the Supplier. This proof of payment is not the confirmation of your reservation, it only informs you that your request is being processed with the Supplier. When the Supplier confirms your reservation, we will send you an email with the reservation voucher. This will be formally the binding contract between you and the Supplier. The date of the contract will be the one in the confirmation document. The meeting place with the Supplier will appear on the Voucher or booking voucher. You can also find in the same Voucher our 24-hour travel assistance telephone number where we will assist you in English or Spanish in the event of any unforeseen event that may occur during the contracted transfer. We recommend that you print the confirmation emails of the contracted services and the vouchers to present them or make use of them whenever required.
e) When you receive the reservation voucher or voucher, check it carefully and make sure all the information is correct. We as an agent of the Supplier are not responsible for any errors or discrepancies it may contain. In case you detect any error, you must notify us immediately. See our policy of modification and / or cancellation of reservations.
g) Any notification or communication that CTT sends you must be ratified by you confirming receipt. Failing that, our system will keep the delivery record, serving as notification and delivery confirmation.
4-Prices and payment
CTT, upon receiving your service request, acts as your agent or representative requesting payment of the full amount of the service you wish to contract with the Supplier.
On our website you can see the detailed prices per service, calculated according to the vehicle, the destination and the date you choose. We can modify the price of the services at any time and your service request, even after being processed and paid, is subject to validation until the moment the Bonus or reservation voucher is sent.
If the Supplier rejects the service or modifies the price with respect to your reservation request, we will inform you by email and request additional information or additional payment if necessary. If the Supplier does not accept the service definitively or you do not agree with the new price offered, we will refund you in full the amount you paid us (in Euros) for the same payment method you used.
During the process of your request for services, CTT offers you the possibility of requesting additional services such as baby chair, children’s lifts, additional luggage, transport of Golf or Sky equipment, etc. The payment of these additional services is only a provision and does not guarantee its availability on the day of the transfer. In the extraordinary case that the Supplier on the day of the transfer cannot meet that request for extra service, the client must notify us directly and the amount of this extra service for that transfer will be fully reimbursed.
6-Changes to the reservation
a) Any request to change the reservation must be sent by email to email@example.com. No change will be effective until we receive it and confirm by email that the Supplier can make the corresponding modification. You can make the change at least 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
b) If you request any change that implies a change in the price (vehicle size, new destination, extras, etc.), the difference between what you have already paid and the new price, you will be notified by email, sending it in the same email a link to pay the difference. Until the payment is received, the change will not be accepted by the Supplier.
c) If the change results in a reduction of the initial rate, the difference will be refunded, as long as you request the modification at least 2 hours before the expected pick-up time.
d) The Supplier will monitor the arrival of your flight or train to anticipate possible schedule changes due to delays, taking into account the information you have provided during the reservation process. But if your flight or train number changes, or you miss the flight / train, or it undergoes any type of modification, you must inform us by calling the 24-hour service number on your reservation voucher. Your change request will be subject to the acceptance of the local Supplier and we will call you and send an email informing you of the status of your reservation.
e) Once your plane has landed (or your train has arrived at the station), the Supplier will wait for 30 minutes at the meeting point that indicates your reservation voucher. From the landing of the plane to the meeting point you will have to go through security checks, baggage collection, customs, or maybe even claim for lost luggage, etc. We advise that one of the passengers go directly to the agreed meeting point with the Supplier before those 30 minutes have elapsed. If the driver had to wait longer than established, this may entail an additional cost to be paid. If after 30 minutes the client does not show up at the meeting point of the established airport or train station, the service will be canceled without the right to a refund.
a) Any request for cancellation of a reservation must be sent by email to our address firstname.lastname@example.org with a minimum of 2 hours before the time scheduled for the first transfer.
b) Cancellations that comply with these terms will be paid in full by the same payment method and currency you have used.
c) Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled pick-up time, will NOT be subject to refund.
8-Insurance and liability
CTT acts as a booking agent. You sign a service contract directly with the Provider and not with us. As an Agent, we accept no responsibility for the provision of the transport service itself. Our responsibility is limited to publishing information on our website about the Services offered by the Suppliers, to transmit the information or modification of the reservations to the Suppliers and to inform you of any changes applied to the terms of your reservation. We do not accept any responsibility for any information or incident on the transfers published on our website.
We decline all responsibility for the losses that could be caused by the incorrect processing of your request by the Supplier, the failures you make when filling out the application form or the non-communication of complete and truthful information during the reservation process.
The information about the services shown on the web, the type of vehicle, the extras, the distances and the travel times are estimated and CTT is not committed to compliance. Similarly CTT does not perform any suitability assessment of your service requests and we are not responsible for the choice you make.
CTT accepts no responsibility for any illness, injury, death or loss of any kind. Any claim for loss, injury, illness or death must be made directly with the Provider or may be covered by the terms of your insurance. In any case, it will be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the country in which the services were performed. We only accept responsibility for claims that arise only as a result of our own negligence.
We will not be responsible for any service that you contract directly with the Supplier, as well as we decline any responsibility in case you make modifications to the contracted services and do not inform us directly and in writing through the means of contact provided.
CTT offers this website in the state in which it is presented and makes the greatest efforts to update, maintain and operate it, not being able to guarantee the absence of technical failures, the infallibility of the service, or that the system or portal is located operational at all times. We do not give guarantees about the accuracy of the content of the website, the veracity of the translation in languages other than Spanish, nor that it is free of viruses or the like that may have harmful effects.
Errors that may appear on the page will be corrected as soon as we know. In the event of any such error that may affect the prices or promotions of our Suppliers, CTT reserves the right to cancel the reservation on behalf of the Supplier and to return the entire amount paid by the passenger.
Neither CTT nor the Supplier can guarantee or take responsibility for extraordinary situations that may occur prior to their transfer. Such circumstances may be such as accidents and derived delays, police checks or operations, acts of vandalism or terrorism, unplanned protest acts, organized demonstrations and disturbances, unforeseen road hazards, acts of government or national authority, natural disasters or catastrophes , fires and adverse weather conditions or other similar events that are beyond the control of the Supplier.
a) CTT will watch at all times to offer you the best possible service and attention. The different forms of contact and our customer service hours appear on the website. Also, during your transfer you have a 24-hour service telephone number on the Bonus, from which we will assist you to solve any unforeseen changes regarding the transfer that you have contracted through our website.
b) All the communications that we keep with you, will be made by email, so we recommend that you always check it before starting your trip to verify that there have been no modifications or cancellations in your reservation. Notifications will be sent to the address you provided during the reservation process.
c) In case you change your email or contact phone number, you must notify us immediately so that we can contact you for any questions regarding your service request.
d) In the event that you do not show up at the meeting point described in the booking voucher within 30 minutes from the time on the Voucher, the Supplier will try to contact you at the telephone number you provided during the reservation process If it is not possible to speak with you because you do not answer, or because your telephone is out of coverage, or because the answering machine skips or the connection fails, in that case the Provider will terminate the service without the right to a refund of the amount paid.
e) If at any time during the course of the service, you detect any problem with the Service provided, notify the Provider, or call us at the number that appears on your Voucher. We will investigate the problem and try to solve it immediately. If we are not notified, our ability to investigate the subject matter of the complaint will be affected, as well as your rights to make a complaint. With this in mind, any claim related to the service must be made in writing in a time not exceeding 15 days from the date of transfer.
f) Upon your return you may receive an evaluation questionnaire for the service provided. This document helps us to constantly improve our services and the service provided by our Suppliers, and therefore it is of vital importance to us. We thank you in advance for the time you will want to devote to your completion.
a) It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that he has entered all his personal data as well as collection and destination correctly (date, time, complete addresses, etc.) at the time of making the reservation. The Supplier will take this data into account for its collection and will take you to your destination as close as possible to your accommodation, depending on the physical characteristics of the vehicle and the accessibility to the requested address.
b) The collection of passengers will always be made at the point, date and time of meeting specified in the booking voucher or Bonus. The maximum waiting time of the driver will be 30 minutes. If you do not show up at the meeting point at the set time, you will lose any right to return or modification of the service.
c) The client must ensure that the arrival at the airport will be at least 2 hours in advance with respect to the flight departure time and at least 10 minutes before the opening of the check-in desk. You are responsible for ensuring that the ground transportation service is booked at the appropriate dates and times for your itinerary to be fulfilled.
d) In the service request process you must tell us if you are traveling with minors. Depending on the country, the safety regulations in this aspect are different, therefore you must request at the time of making the reservation that the retention system for minors be provided as established by the law of the country in which it is Make the transfer. The Supplier, depending on availability, will provide the most appropriate system for the child’s age, according to current regulations. In the event that the Supplier does not have a retention system, you will be entitled to the refund of that extra amount but never to the payment of the transport service.
e) If you do not inform us that you are traveling with children, you will have to travel with the vehicle’s own security and retention systems. EU directive 2003/20 / EC regulates mandatory safety systems for children. In the case of taxis and private passenger transport, the rule says:
- Children under three years of age, when in a taxi or authorized vehicle, can travel without support in the back seat on the knees of an adult if there are no child seats available.
- Children over three years of age should wear an adult seat belt if no child seats are worn or are not available.
In both cases, children will always count as passengers and vehicle occupants.
f) The type of vehicle in which the transfer will take place is not guaranteed. The Supplier has total freedom to change the vehicle without being liable for it. On some occasions, you will proceed to change vehicles if, in this way, you can offer the service that, otherwise, could not be carried out.
g) All vehicles and Suppliers are official cars of the public taxi service of the city of Barcelona and have the mandatory administrative and insurance licenses required by the regulations and legislation of the city of Barcelona.
a) Each passenger may carry a suitcase with a maximum weight of 20 kg (maximum combined total dimension of 158cm -length + width + depth-).
b) The luggage must be identified with your name, destination address and telephone. In the event that you leave the forgotten luggage in the vehicle, we will contact you and will be sent to the address you indicated in the reservation. The additional expenses derived from this shipment will be at your expense.
c) We recommend that you do not carry in your luggage fragile or valuable objects such as jewelry, money, precious metals, silver cutlery, checks or other negotiable securities, documents, passports and other identity documents, samples, etc.
d) Neither the Supplier nor we will be responsible for losses or damages that your luggage may suffer. The responsibility for your luggage is yours. We recommend that you subscribe an insurance policy that protects you against possible losses and damages.
e) The acceptance of these terms and conditions on your part, obliges you to comply at all times with the legislation in force in Spain. In this regard, your luggage may not contain prohibited items such as dangerous substances, firearms, perishable items or fragile objects, or animals that have not been recorded in accordance with clause f) below.
f) During the reservation process you must tell us if you are traveling with pets. Pets are the sole responsibility of you and as such you must seek at all times for your well-being and health. They must always travel in a container that complies with IATA regulations. The transportation of pets is subject to the availability and approval of the Provider and at an additional cost that you must pay. In case of not informing us or not of complying with the required security conditions, the Supplier has the right to cancel your transfer without the right of return for you.
a) The client declares by accepting this contract, that he is of legal age and qualified to accept the subscribed responsibilities.
b) The client declares that he understands the general conditions and undertakes to pay for the requested services by means of a suitable credit or debit card, with authorization for its use and with sufficient funds to cover the cost of the service.
c) Understand that you must notify CTT of any variation that affects your reservation and service as quickly as possible.
d) The service will be carried out in accordance with the details that you have provided in the reservation process. You have the obligation to check all the information that appears in the Service Reservation Voucher that we will send you in the confirmation email and in case of discrepancy you must notify us in writing with a minimum of 2 hours before the time scheduled for the first transfer hired. Otherwise, we will not be able to assist you and we will not be responsible for canceling your reservation, without the right to a refund.
e) The client must carry all the necessary documentation to cross the borders. Neither the Supplier nor CTT will be responsible or accept any charges that may be incurred if it does not carry the documentation or if it does not comply with the regulations of the customs, police, fiscal authority or administration of the countries for which it is requested. the entrance. The reservation voucher is not considered a valid document to obtain visas.
f) In the event that the Supplier or CTT had to face a deposit or economic fine in front of the corresponding Authorities as a result of the breach of the laws on their part, regulations or any other requirement imposed by the countries to which they want Access, who wants to leave or for those who will transit, we will have the right to withhold any sum of money that belongs to you until you make the payment in full.
14-Right of Admission
a) The Supplier shall have the right to refuse to transfer any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We reserve the right, according to reasonable criteria, to interrupt the transfer if the conduct or behavior of any of the passengers affects their safety or that of the driver of the vehicle. Neither we nor any of our Suppliers accept any responsibility for the additional expenses incurred by you or your group as a result of such conduct.
b) The consumption of alcohol and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited in vehicles. It is not allowed to smoke inside them.
15-Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
a) These General Terms and Conditions, as well as any relationship between CTT and the Client will be governed by Spanish law. For any litigious issue arising from the existence, content and / or interpretation of said General Terms and Conditions or any relationship between CTT and the Client, both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the city of Barcelona.
b) CTT reserves the right to make changes at any time on its website, as well as in these General Terms and Conditions.
Different operators and means of transport that you have hired are probably involved in your travel itinerary. For your safety and guarantee, we strongly recommend that you hire an insurance policy that covers eventual expenses in case of cancellation of the reservation and that includes coverage for accident or illness (including repatriation), Supplier’s bankruptcy, lost luggage, loss of cash, as well as other derivative expenses.
